Neya Systems has been selected for an award to deliver large-scale autonomous fuel delivery vehicles to the U.S. Department of War. The award was announced at the Defense Industrial Base Accelerator (DIBX) 2026, taking place Aug. 25-26 in Philadelphia.
Along with its partners, Textron Systems and AM General, Neya will deliver an integrated system of autonomous uncrewed ground and surface vehicles to enable fuel distribution over long distances. Currently, these missions are achieved via large convoys that are prime targets for attack. Powered by our N-Drive autonomy stack and multi-asset mission orchestration solution (MPMS), this system will enable a single operator to oversee and manage a decentralized fleet of vehicles with minimal intervention while keeping Soldiers out of harm’s way.
MPMS will be used to orchestrate a fleet of Textron uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs) and AM General uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs), each equipped with auxiliary fuel tanks. After being loaded with fuel, the USVs will be able to autonomously navigate routes with ranges of more than 100 nautical miles to a shore transfer station. The fuel will then be distributed among several UGVs, creating redundancy so the mission can continue even if one of them is attacked or disabled.
